I started Honeydew You because I don’t want one. more. woman. spending her life obsessing over her body. Too many of us are missing out on rich experiences and instead living life paralyzed because of fear around food and a strong dislike of our body.  Sadly, many dietitians accidentally (I think) feed into this restrictive lifestyle, promoting a “one size fits all” way of eating that does more harm than good. I don’t want that to be me.

I’ve been there, stuck in a realm of impossible food rules and trying to make my body look like a body I was never designed to have. We were all made differently, and trying to starve ourselves into an unattainable body size means spending our whole life trying to be someone else. I want women to find joy TODAY. No more yo-yo dieting, no more food rules, and no more shame.  This passion is what led me to create Honeydew You.

Hello and Welcome!

I’m Arielle – (yes, a redhead named Arielle). Being a Disney princess was always my backup plan if college didn’t work out. ;) I’m 26 years old and live in Roseville, California with my little family.

I have other passions and hobbies as well, including re-decorating my home way too often, throwing parties, trying out every coffee shop within 50 miles of where I am, and anything outdoors. Because Honeydew You is where I share what I’m passionate about in life, these random topics pop up on here as well. One of the best things about intuitive eating is that it allows you to move past restriction and shame and instead find the space to engage in the things that give us life.

Currently, I do the hard and sacred work of helping women heal their relationship with food and their bodies. I have a special place in my heart for postpartum women, and use my experience as an RD and lactation consultant to help mamas navigate that precious postpartum time period, trading guilt for grace.

In this humble corner of the internet I hope you’ll find freedom, laughter, and community. I hope you’ll leave feeling lighter and inspired to take back your life. I can’t wait to get to know you. Cheers to doing YOU!
